The Oaken Grail

East of Bailey and Chum’s Chicken Farmhouse, enter the Wildering Forest.

Head west and do so until you reach a deeper forest entrance.

There is a disintegrator nearby this forest entrance.

Talk to Flint who is right next to the new forest area entrance. He will tell you he’s lost his journal. It should be somewhere passed the Silken to the north. Let’s go.

Defeat the Silken and head up the north stairs. And west through a forest exit.

Follow this short path to find the Lost Journal Flint was looking for. Let’s take this back to him. →

He will then ask you to head deeper into the forest and get something from the castle, the Oaken Grail. Supposedly, it grants eternal life! →

Head directly east and head into the castle. Oh! Sir Cedric requests our aid before we can enter. Naturally. He needs some flowers for a bouquet. We’ll make this a bit more efficient to save time.

The flowers Sir Cedric requests are as follows:

• x5 Prowl Blossom, guarded by Prowler southeast of castle
• x5 Briar Petal, guarded by Briarwood south of the castle
• x5 Fae Rose, guarded by Faeleaf west of the castle

Defeat these enemies and gather the flowers. Return to Sir Cedric and progress dialogue until you’ve given him all the flowers. You can now enter the castle. Defeat the Forest Knight to get through the castle courtyard.

The path to the Paladin is very linear. Following the short hallway, the Paladin awaits for you down the ramp.

Same strat as Embermaw. Equip a 🔥Fire or 🔩Steel skateboard for type advantage. Equipping a 🌲Nature hoodie will mitigate damage. Bring food for healing.

Once you’ve won, head up the left stairs (there’s nothing of note up the right) and claim your prize: the Oaken Grail!

The door leads you to the castle battlements, follow the path all the way west, passed the forest exit. Take the large jump over the lake and head south and up the first staircase to your left.

Go passed the Silken and backtrack to Flint. Give him the Oaken Grail for the Explorer Skateboard!

The forest exit we pass on the way back is to Rancho Bamba. That is our next destination!

For now, head back to Flint.

After you’re done exploring Torrey Village, continue to Rancho Bamba through the forest exit above.
