Each enemy mob in Pow Vista can be obtained as a Pal, a companion that can be assigned various tasks to assist in material/loot gathering and combat. Pals are hatched from eggs.
🥚Obtaining Pal Eggs
Eggs are drops from enemy mobs. The egg must then be hatched before becoming a Pal. Each newly hatched Pal has x10 PowBuck Voucher in their inventory.
- An egg can only gain levels towards hatching / hatch while placed in inventory
- Eggs hatch by a step level or count (?) 🚧
- Eggs do not hatch while in another Pal’s inventory
- Pals cannot be stored in other Pals’ inventory
☑️ Tasks and Equipping Pals
Open the Pal menu to assign tasks and equip the Pal with a tool or skateboard. Each Pal has their own elemental weaknesses and resistances (viewed in PowDex).
During gathering tasks, Pals will move to / from nearby resources, fill up their available inventory before depositing in the bank.
Current available tasks:
- 🐾Companion - Pal follows player, not performing any action
- 🛡️Bodyguard - Attacks enemies that player is currently attacking
- Levels Pals 💥Strength and ❤️Hitpoints skills
- For Death XP, Pals must get the last hit of a
Deathcarbon infected enemy
- 🌲Chop Fir - Pal will chop nearest Fir Tree
- 🌊Fish Tentacle - Pal will fish nearest Raw Tentacle
- ⛰️Mine Clay - Pal will mine nearest clay node
Pals cannot currently gather higher level materials
⬆️ Leveling Up Pals
Pals level up the same as players. Actions taken while assigned a task earns XP in the related skill.(Example: a Pal tasked to chop trees will earn 🌲XP, fish food for 🌊XP) Similarly, Pals can equip tools and skateboards according to the level of their skills.)
🪙 Auto-Loot
Pals can fill their pockets so combat can be prioritized by the player. Setting the Pal’s task to loot enables auto-loot, though at first restricted. As a Pal levels up, more inventory spaces are unlocked and more items can be held.
A Goblin Pal is set to Loot and is picking up the stackable
Gold dropped by the
Knight.
